The Pacifica Graduate Institute Alumni Association (PGIAA) will debut our First Annual Film Festival September 8-11, 2016. The title of the 2016 festival is “Embracing the Soul of Story in Film: Myth, Symbol & Ritual.” We need a dynamic and powerful logo that represents depth psychology and film and helps make this exciting event unique and memorable.

The winning submission will receive free admission and hotel for two for the 2016 Pacifica Film Festival, and will be featured in an interview and article about the artist on the PGIAA and Pacifica Film Festival web pages, Facebook pages, and in other depth and film festival media.

The color scheme for the Film Festival includes the following (list pantone colors below):

1.  Pantone Neutral Black C
2.  Pantone 7710C
3.  Pantone 7621C
4.  Pantone 129C
5.  Pantone 2597C

We are seeking a logo that can work well with both a light and dark background. For the initial submission, a small .gif or .jpg is acceptable. Please note: once the best submission is chosen, we may request 1-2 rounds of revisions to finesse. For the final submission, we will require a high quality Adobe Illustrator (or similar) vector file.

Please submit your finished concepts to alumnirelations@pacifica.edu by March 1, 2016. The final selection will be made no later than March 5, 2016
